I’ve created this Romantic travel destination site for you with one primary reason – so you've got in one place all the information and resources you need to plan your next romantic visit or trip to Croatia and Northern Italy (Lombardy region).

For the last 30 years I have experienced both countries as a tourist, as a guide. But perhaps most important to you... I am born in Croatia and I am a resident in Milan!

How do you find a favorite romantic travel getaway among so many scattered around the world? It’s not always easy to make the correct choice. It is not only young couples in love who are about to get married and planning their honeymoon who are looking for romantic travel getaways.

But there are also couples who have been together for a number of years and want to celebrate the time they have been together. Or, it can be a small group of friends and seniors who want to share a beautiful spot together and celebrate their friendship.

My name is Milos Pero, and I was born in Split Croatia in 1947. After learning to speak Italian and English during my university years, I started a tourist business working with Jugotours, Centrotourist and Mercator Turist International, first as a tourist guide in Italy, Croatia, Egypt, Turkey, Austria and Hungary.

I also have experience in guiding cruising groups along the Croatia's Adriatic coast. In 1992 after the War in Croatia and Bosnia started, I moved with my family to Milano, Italy. I now organize small size group tours (6-8 people) in Northern and Central Italy, especially in the Milan region, Northern lakes district, Venice and Tuscany.

I can guide you to special places that are less known whether you want a romantic getaway or share a vacation with friends. I will tell you about my favorite restaurants and hotels that are reasonably priced to give you the most for your money and stretch a tight budget.
